Tung Ho Steel raise H-beam price
Tung Ho Steel has announced to raise H-beam price by NT$500/ton to NT$24,000~25,500/ton.
The international scrap price kept increasing since July. Thus the cost for electric furnace plant increased as well.
Currently, the import price of scrap was around NT$13,500/ton, higher than Taiwan’s local scrap price. So the price of local scrap and construction steel must follow to increase.
Steel rebar price has kept increasing for weeks from NT$17,500 to NT$19,000/ton.
