Global zinc output increases in H1
The International Lead and Zinc Study Group reported the global zinc supply surplus was 176,000 tons during January to June this year, less than 264,000 ton in the same period of last year.
Meanwhile, global refined zinc output was 6.24 million tons in the first six months, increasing by 17 percent year-on-year.
The global refined zinc consumption also increased by 20 percent to 6.06 million tons driven by strong growth in China market.
